Juventus have reportedly given Paul Pogba permission to undergo a medical at Manchester United ahead of a world record transfer.
Sky Italia and Mediaset claim the Turin club have given the France international leave to travel to Manchester for medical tests at his former club, 24 hours before he was due to report back to the club after his extended summer break.
Pogba is now expected to complete his long-expected move early next week with a fee of over £100million changing hands between the clubs.
United boss Jose Mourinho can look forward to having the 23-year-old available to train with his new team-mates from Tuesday, when the squad report back after the Community Shield.
However, having not kicked a ball since France’s Euro 2016 Final defeat to Portugal on July 10, Pogba may not be ready to start next weekend’s opening Premier League match away at Bournemouth, with United at 7/10 with Titan Bet to beat the Cherries..
