Scouts from Juventus, Atletico Madrid and West Ham are expected to make their way to Portugal next week hoping see Christian Benteke in international action.
The Belgium striker has enjoyed limited first team success at Liverpool this season and seems set to be sold.
But new Anfield boss Jurgen Klopp will have no shortage of clubs interested in the player they signed from Aston Villa for a mega £33m just last summer.
Benteke is only 25 and still has a strong standing throughout Europe where his goalscoring exploits for Villa have not been forgotten.
Madrid coach Diego Simeone is a particular admirer of the player hoping to win his 25th senior international cap.
The worry now for Simeone, Liverpool and Benteke’s other suitors is his fitness, with a knee injury threatening to keep him out of Tuesday’s rearranged friendly in Portugal.
Fellow countryman and club team-mate Divock Origi has already withdrawn from the Belgium squad with a thigh problem and now Benteke’s inclusion in a match, that was originally due to be played in Brussels on Good Friday, is also in doubt.
