Juventus star Paul Pogba has admitted he does not know where his future lies as he is linked with a summer return to Manchester United.
The 23-year-old France international midfielder was speaking at the ESPN ESPY awards ceremony in America, where he had previously dined with new United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in Bobby Chinn’s Los Angeles restaurant on Wednesday.
Pogba is reportedly the subject of a world record £100million move back to Old Trafford, having initially left the club for Juve in summer 2012 after he failed to pen a new contract on offer.
And when handed a United shirt at the awards he referred to the club as his ‘first family’, after claiming the shirt of Juve is ‘my team, my family, it’s where I am playing.’
In addition to the United and Juve shirts, Pogba was asked what the Real Madrid shirt meant to him and he added: “They won the Champions League this year. They are a great club.”
When further quizzed about the possibility of leaving Juve for United, Pogba said on ESPN: “I don’t know. Let’s see, let’s see.
“For the moment, I am here [Juventus] and I am happy here, but I don’t know where I want to go.”
