Liverpool have told Juventus they will have to pay £25million to have a chance of signing Christian Benteke in the summer.
Benteke has struggled to live up to his £32.5million price tag since arriving from Aston Villa, but that has not deterred Juve, who are keen to do a deal in the summer.
The Italian champions tried to land Benteke in the January transfer window, but Reds boss Jurgen Klopp refused to sell as he could not bring in a replacement first.
However Klopp will have more time to make changes to his squad over the summer and will allow Benteke to head to the Turin outfit if the price is right.
Juve will not go as high as £32million, but reports claim they are happy to pay £25million for the Belgium international, and Liverpool will be happy to accept.
