Juventus have been linked with a move for Spurs outcast Nabil Bentaleb as a potential replacement for Paul Pogba.
France star Pogba is on the verge of a world-record move to Manchester United and the Italian champions are keen to bring in some reinforcements in midfield.
Juve have already splashed out 90million euros to land Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli and if Pogba is sold they are unlikely to be willing to fork out another hefty fee themselves for a like-for-like replacement.
Spurs are not only prepared to sell Bentaleb, they are actively seeking a sale as boss Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed the Algerian is not in his plans for the season ahead.
It has now been speculated that the Old Lady could make a surprise move for the Spurs misfit and a fee in the region of £10million has been suggested.
However, the Serie A heavyweights are likely to have a number of potential options to fill the void left by Pogba when his switch to Old Trafford is finally completed, and Bentaleb may not be their top target after a largely forgettable campaign last season.
