Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp rued one mistake that cost them three points against Tottenham but refused to single out Dejan Lovren for individual blame.
The Reds took the lead through Philippe Coutinho just after half time but were pegged back through a stunning Harry Kane finish.
And while Klopp was disappointed not to hold on for the victory, he was encouraged by what he saw from his Liverpool side.
“There were a lot of moments where we could have decided the game and won the game,” said Klopp.
“It was a good example for our season – a lot of potential and a lot of good things but then one moment [and it ruins it].
“We created more chances than the opponent and had better offensive and defensive moments. But both teams scored one goal and that is how it is and we have to accept that.
“The good parts of this performance show what is possible with this team. It is not too enjoyable in the moment but against Tottenham one point is better than no points.”
