Arsenal are reportedly set to move for Manchester United outcast Phil Jones when the January transfer window opens.
The 24-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford over the last few years due to a string of injuries.
Reports claim that he no longer has a future left with Manchester United under Jose Mourinho and he will be allowed to leave if the right offer comes in.
Arsenal are understood to be keen on the former Blackburn man, who could be available for a fee of £10million.
Arsene Wenger added defender Shkodran Mustafi to his ranks over the summer but is still on the lookout for further cover.
Jones is currently on the sidelines and not expected to return to fitness for another three weeks, having yet to feature this term.
