Joao Mario is shelving talk about his future to help Portugal win Euro 2016.
The Sporting Lisbon midfielder has been linked with a big-money move to Chelsea or Manchester United and he has shone in France this summer.
Mario has played in every one of Portugal’s matches during their run to Sunday’s final against France in Paris.
But now he insists he is fully focused on going all the way and not about where he will be playing his football next season.
“Two days away from playing a final – my only focus is on playing this final,” said Mario.
“My future is only two days – to the European Championship final.
“Critics are a part of football. We don’t care about them. We don’t want to win to have our revenge, we want to win for the fans.
“We above all believe in ourselves, the coach was the first one to transmit this spirit. There will always be criticism but we believe in ourselves.”
