Ernie Els is one of the true greats, having won four Majors and countless more tournaments around the world in a glittering career.

But he was left humbled and humiliated when he walked off the first green following his opening hole of the 2016 Masters.

Els took an astonishing SIX putts from just 3ft to card a nine on the par four and see his hopes of winning a first Green Jacket ruined in a matter of a few mad minutes.

It was heartbreaking to watch, but hands up those of you who had a mischievous giggle at the South African’s expense?

PEP GUARDIOLA must be waking up in a hot sweat from the potential nightmare scenario of having to face Manchester City in the Champions League.

What a potential pickle for Pep.
