BRENDAN Rodgers has been walking on water since becoming Celtic boss and the 5-1 thumping of Rangers at the weekend added more shine to his halo.

But no-one should be fooled, because it is harder to fail than succeed at a club that operates in a shambolic league.

Let’s see how good he is tomorrow night when he takes his side to Barcelona to begin their Champions League group campaign.

The last time Rodgers led a team onto the biggest of Spanish stages, for Liverpool against Real Madrid, he decided to leave Steven Gerrard and Philip Coutinho on the bench.
