Stoke City target Axel Witsel admits he is torn between moving to England or Italy.
The midfielder is ready to leave Zenit St Petersburg this summer as he wants a new challenge after four seasons in Russia.
Stoke and Roma are both very interested in the 27-year-old, who is currently playing for Belgium at Euro 2016, and he admits he is uncertain where he will end up.
“Russia was a nice adventure, but it’s time for me to change,” Witsel told reporters after Belgium’s win over Ireland.
“I don’t know whether I’ll go to the Premier League or to Serie A.
“Italian football fascinates me and at 27 it would be the right move. Milan had looked for me, it’s true, but that’s a story from a long time ago.”
