Tottenham have been handed a double injury boost as both Erik Lamela and Jan Vertonghen are set to return to action against Man Utd.
Spurs host United at White Hart Lane on Sunday in a game they will surely have to win if they are to have any chance of catching Premier League leaders Leicester at the top of the table.
And they have received a boost ahead of the clash with both players set to be fit. Lamela picked up an ankle injury on international duty and missed the draw with Liverpool but Vertonghen has been out of the side for two months after picking up a knee injury.
The Belgium defender has been replaced by Austrian Kevin Wimmer in recent games but he is expected to step down if Vertonghen is passed fit to return.
