West Brom have said in a statement than an “an Albion XI” will play the Dynamos “as they visit England to step up their pre-season preparations”.

The Baggies say the match will be the first-ever game between a Premier League side and an Indian Super League outfit and it’s been scheduled for the first international break of the upcoming season.

Delhi are managed by Italy’s World Cup-winning defender Gianluca Zambrotta and have former Chelsea winger Florent Malouda in their squad.

The Baggies XI is set to feature a mix of first-team fringe players and academy stars as those away with their countries on international duty will obviously not be taking part.

The club say they will donate the profits from the friendly to be split between five charities including the Albion Foundation.
