Ibrahimovic to Man Utd: Sweden team-mate backs Old Trafford move amid announcement

His confidence matches his talent, with the outspoken goalscorer set to be one of the stars of Euro 2016.

But Guidetti, who didn’t make the grade at City but scored goals on loan at Celtic and now with Spanish side Celta Vigo, also believes Ibrahimovic will help maximise the potential of United’s young players including teenage England striker Marcus Rashford.

The 24-year-old added: “He is fantastic, great. The way he speaks with all the younger players, the way he demands quality, it is a true pleasure to play with him.

“There’ll never be another Zlatan; he’s a one-off. The way that he talked and behaved has inspired me. He would say, ‘I’m going to be the best’, and that’s not something a Swede normally says.

“That’s when I realised that you could say that. We do want to be the best. He changed the way we think.”
