Crystal Palace star Jason Puncheon has revealed to talkSPORT he may become a regular visitor to the stands after he was spotted celebrating among fans during Sunday’s FA Cup victory at Tottenham.
Video footage captured the forward, who is currently out with a hamstring injury, joining in with supporters as Martin Kelly’s first-half strike saw Alan Pardew’s team into the quarter-finals.
Puncheon hasn’t played for Palace since the February 2 defeat to Bournemouth, and the 29-year-old told fans to keep their eyes peeled as he may visit again during his absence from matchday action.
“I would do it again, definitely,” the Eagles forward told talkSPORT. “I really enjoyed it from the moment I walked in there to the moment I left.
“I was going mad [when the goal went in], as soon as we scored you just felt the place erupt.
“Palace fans can carry you through a game as a player, so I just thought I wanted to experience that myself to see what it was like. It was a wonderful experience, it was great.”
