Nabil Bentaleb has no regrets about leaving Tottenham for Schalke.
The midfielder left White Hart Lane for the German club on loan in the summer after falling down the pecking order.
Since leaving, the 21-year-old has watched his parent club climb to second in the Premier League while in contrast Schalke sit 16th in the Bundesliga.
However, despite his loan side’s slow start to the season, the Algerian does not have any second thoughts about leaving Spurs.
“Even if Tottenham were leading I would not regret my move,” Bentaleb told SportBild.
“At Schalke they believe in me. I’ve decided, and nothing changes just because we lost a few games.”
