Chelsea target Mats Hummels has set himself a deadline as he decides whether to stay with Borussia Dortmund or move on.
The World Cup winner has reportedly spoken to the club about an extension to his current contract, which expires in 2017, with BVB understandably desperate to keep hold of the defender.
However, Hummels has admitted to having his head turned by the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona, who are all believed to be weighing up summer offers for the 27-year-old.
Hummels says he is still wrestling with whether to commit to Dortmund or move on to pastures new but says he has set himself a deadline for the decision making process.
“I’ve set a date. But I’m keeping it to myself,” Hummels told Sky Deutschland. “It’s costing me half an hour before bed every night.”
Chelsea have put a new central defender high on their wanted list as they look to replace John Terry this summer and Hummels has emerged as a strong contender to step into his boots.
