Hull are expected to announce three signings today, incuding Manchester United striker Will Keane and goalkeeper David Marshall.
Caretaker boss Mike Phelan has had to work with 13 fit senior players following a summer of turmoil at the KCOM Stadium, but is now on the verge of making his first signings that will include the recruitment of a goalkeeper, midfielder and striker.
It has been reported that former England Under-21 strike Keane is having a medical on Humberside ahead of a permanent move from Manchester United, while Marshall will rubberstamp his £5million switch from Cardiff City.
Hull are also keen to strengthen their midfield and are understood to have met Tottenham’s valuation of Ryan Mason.
But they have other options and are believed to be in talks with Derby’s Republic of Ireland international Jeff Hendrick and Norway playmaker Markus Henriksen.
It has been reported that Hull have agreed a £10million deal with Derby for the 25-times capped Hendrick, although Burnley are also said to be interested in the 24-year-old.
Henriksen was left out of AZ Alkmaar’s 2-0 Eredivisie win over NEC on Sunday, with the Dutch media reporting that he had been given permission to travel to England for talks with the Tigers.
