Teams in the English top flight are bringing in more money than ever before with the new television deal.
But they’re also raking in tons of cash from shirt sponsorships – with the funds brought in by the league more than doubling over the past six years.
According to sportingintelligence.com, the 20 clubs will receive an eye-watering combined total of £225.6m this season from shirt sponsors.
To put that into context, the Bundesliga – which is the second strongest league in terms of shirt sponsorship – brought in £101m last season.
La Liga’s total, meanwhile, was around £65m.
