Arsenal continue to be linked with a move for Watford striker Odion Ighalo, but will face competition from Manchester United.
Ighalo has managed 14 Premier League goals this season and two further strikes in the FA Cup, but he has only found the net three times since the turn of the year.
The striker’s form, particularly earlier in the season, has attracted the interest of the Gunners and United, according to the Daily Star, and both are said to be considering summer swoops.
Watford sports consultant Nicola Salerno has already indicated the Hornets are open to offers, but warned the Nigerian will not be sold on the cheap.
Speculation has already suggested the Hornets will be holding out for at least £20million.
