England boss Roy Hodgson has warned Theo Walcott that he must play regularly for Arsenal to be considered for Euro 2016.
Walcott has struggled for form in the second half of the campaign and has started just one of ArsenalÂ’s last six games.
The winger was part of the England squad for the most recent international break but was restricted to an appearance from the bench in the loss to the Netherlands.
Hodgson has refused to rule out WalcottÂ’s inclusion for Euro 2016 but has stressed the importance of earning a regular run-out with the Gunners.
“For Theo, he like quite a lot of other players, will have to try hard to get back in the Arsenal team otherwise I will not be seeing enough of him. But we know Theo Walcott, we know what he can do and it will be a balance,” Hodgson said.
