England boss Roy Hodgson says he expects Arsenal duo Jack Wilshere and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to be fit for Euro 2016.
Wilshere is yet to feature this season due to injury, while Oxlade-Chamberlain was also ruled out for eight weeks after picking up a knee problem.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has always been keen to stress their return to the Arsenal squad comes before England, but Hodgson is confident both players will be on the plane to France.
“I speak more with [Arsenal manager] Arsene Wenger than with the individuals,” Hodgson told reporters. “Arsene tells me Jack is making very good progress and will be back in the near future.
“No reason to believe that Alex won’t be back some time in April and will still have a chance to impress us and get his name on a list of potential travellers.”
