Harry Kane: Tottenham not worried about Leicester, we’ll sort out our own destiny

While that first Premier League title in the club’s history may seem close, Kane insists it is not being discussed by the players.

The England striker said: “We haven’t spoken abut the title but we obviously know we are in a great position, we’re not stupid.

“There is still a long way to go and all we can do now is win against Bournemouth, go away for a week for the international break and then we have Liverpool and Man United coming up.

“We have to get ready for them and sort out our own destiny by winning games.”

Without Kane’s goals Spurs would be nowhere near the Premier League summit.

His Villa Park double took his season’s tally to 19 – only Jamie Vardy can match that – and he is excited for what lies ahead in the closing stages of the campaign.

Kane said: “I feel strong and good. The Aston Villa game last week was probably the of the best I’ve felt all season.

“We can’t control what Leicester do or what Man City do, we can only control what we do.”
