West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has won the race to sign Valencia winger Sofiane Feghouli ahead of Villarreal and Inter Milan.
The 26-year-old is available on a free transfer and had offers from elsewhere but has opted for the Hammers and has signed a three-year contract.
The winger says that boss Bilic helped him make up his mind that east London was the place to go and he is looking forward to his time with the club.
The Algeria international, who left Valencia last month, said: “I am very happy to sign for the Hammers and for Slaven Bilic. The history of the club is important for me in my decision.
“Playing in the Premier League is very important for players in their careers and I am happy to play for the Hammers.”
