West Ham are understood to be close to completing a loan move for Juventus’ Simone Zaza with a view to a permanent deal.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is eager to bolster his attacking options following injuries to Andy Carroll and Andre Ayew and his hunt appears to be almost over.
West Ham have been tracking Zaza for some time and it is now thought the 25-year-old is close to completing a move to the Premier League club.
Reports indicate the striker will join on an initial loan deal, which will become a permanent £25million move when Zaza has played a specified number of games.
The Hammers have also been linked with Wilfried Bony of Manchester City and Chelsea striker Loic Remy as Bilic has admitted several times he wants more options up front.
