Besiktas have revealed they rejected a loan offer from West Ham for Gokhan Tore but remain open to selling the winger.
The Hammers have been heavily linked with the Turkish winger since the end of last season and boss Slaven Bilic has publicly admitted he would like to add the 24-year-old to his ranks.
Despite having reportedly agreed personal terms with Tore, West Ham have yet to table an acceptable offer to Besiktas, with the Turkish club’s president Fikret Orman revealing the Londoners initially proposed a loan deal with a view to a permanent switch.
Despite turning down their offer, Orman said they are willing to let Tore leave for the right price, despite admitting the wide man is a key part of the current Besiktas squad.
“We have not transfer listed Gokhan Tore he is a very important player but if he wants to leave we will sell him for the right price,” he said.
