West Ham have tabled a £20m bid for Swansea forward Andre Ayew, but Sky Sports claim the Welsh club have yet to respond to the offer.
The 26-year-old was on the Hammers’ transfer hitlist last summer, but joined the Swans on a free transfer and went on to score 12 goals during his debut season in the Premier League.
Slaven Bilic remains keen on the Ghana international and is ready to hand Swansea a chance to cash in for an instant £20m profit.
But the Liberty Stadium club want more time to get in another forward before concluding the deal and are understood to be chasing more than one player because they still haven’t found a replacement for Bafetimbi Gomis.
Swansea have been linked with moves for Sevilla striker Fernando Llorente and Leicester City frontman Leonardo Ulloa.
