West Ham defender Aaron Cresswell is looking forward to the last ever FA Cup tie at the Boleyn Ground against Manchester United.
Cresswell has shone at left-back since arriving from Ipswich in 2014 and impressed again in Sunday’s 1-1 draw with United.
Few could have argued against Slaven Bilic’s men winning the quarter-final, but it does set-up an exciting final cup match at the Boleyn Ground.
With the Olympic Stadium move looming large and having dominated large spells at Old Trafford, Cresswell is hoping the quarter-final replay is a night to remember as they aim to set up a semi-final clash with Everton.
“It doesn’t get much better – the quarter-final against Manchester United,” said Cresswell.
“It’s going to be the last FA Cup tie at the Boleyn Ground and hopefully we can make it a special night for the fans.
“I am sure they are looking forward to that as well.”
