Diafra Sakho is close to sealing his move to West Brom from West Ham after agreeing personal terms at the Hawthorns.
Negotiations between the two clubs over the 26-year-old have been ongoing since the end of last season and a fee of £16million was agreed over the weekend, but now the move is a step closer after the Senegal international agreed terms.
That just leaves the medical for the player to pass before the move is rubber stamped and that could happen on Tuesday evening or early on Wednesday morning.
The swoop could see Saido Berahino depart the Baggies as the striker is being heavily linked with a big-money move to either Stoke City are Crystal Palace this summer.
Meanwhile, Albion boss Tony Pulis could now switch his attentions to bolstering other areas of his squad and will be boosted by the news left-back target Charlie Taylor has handed in a transfer request at Championship side Leeds United.
