Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink has revealed that Radamel Falcao could return to action after the international break.
The Colombian’s season has been plagued by a thigh injury and he has not featured for the Blues since the end of October.
However, after an extensive rehabilitation period, Falcao is now closing in on a return and Hiddink thinks he could be involved for Chelsea at the start of April.
“As everyone knows Falcao has had a very difficult time with his injuries,” said Hiddink.
“He has recovered physically from the injury and now he has to regain his substance and physical fitness.
“He’s been training with the first team for 10 days and we’ll see after the international break whether he is fully competitive. We have to wait to see how he reacts to the more intensive training he is undergoing.”
