Hull are set to pip Celtic and Swansea to the signature of Reading defender Chris Gunter, reports have claimed.
Gunter jumped on to the radar of all three clubs after it was revealed the Wales international has a £1.1million release clause in his contract with the Championship club.
Gunter also caught the eye when playing for Wales at Euro 2016 and Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers was reported to be lining up a deal, while Swansea were considering the same.
However, Hull now appear to have jumped to the head of the queue as they look to replace Moses Odubajo, who has been ruled out for the next six months with a serious knee injury.
Talks have already started and the 26-year-old could be a Tigers player by the end of the week, reports have claimed.
