Wolfsburg’s director of sport Klaus Allofs says there is no chance of the club selling Arsenal target Julian Draxler this summer.
Recent speculation in the British and German press has suggested the Gunners have revived their interest in the Germany international having tried to land him from Schalke before his move to Wolfsburg 12 months ago.
Arsenal are said to have offered the Bundesliga side over £40million for the 22-year-old’s services as they bid to add to their frontline during the summer transfer window.
Wolfsburg have now told Arsenal to forget trying to sign Draxler this summer, claiming they have no intention of selling a player they have only had on their books for one year, no matter the money on the table.
Allofs told Sport1: “With Draxler it will be 100% like that. He will stay at VfL. There is no discussion.
“It is not the time for any vow, but we will not sell Julian. Our plans are clear.”
