Arsenal have been boosted by the news Aaron Ramsey is back in training but the game against Swansea is likely to come too soon.

The Wales international has been on the sidelines since picking up a hamstring injury against Liverpool on the opening day of the season, but now appears to be closing on a return to action.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will be delighted to have him back in training, but is unwilling to rush him straight into the first team for fear of him breaking down again.

Wenger has plenty of options and Ramsey will face a battle to get back into the side as Granit Xhaka, Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin are all vying for the same position.

Coquelin is also back in training having recovered from the knee injury picked up in the 3-0 win against Chelsea and is said to have a much better chance of making the trip to South Wales.

The Liberty Stadium clash will be new Swans boss Bob Bradley’s first game in charge and the Gunners could have a tough test on their hands despite disappointing start to the season for the Welsh outfit.
