Swansea boss Francesco Guidolin is likely to look to Borja Baston for the EFL Cup clash with Manchester City on Wednesday.
Baston joined the Swans for a fee of £15.5million over the summer from Atletico Madrid, however, his chances have been restricted due to injury.
The frontman came off the bench in Sunday’s defeat to Southampton but could get the nod from the start to face City.
Guidolin has told Neil Taylor he will play despite his recent issues after being hauled off against Chelsea and omitted from the squad for the trip to St Mary’s.
Nathan Dyer is a long-term absentee, while club captain Leon Britton is expected to be restored for the game at the Liberty Stadium.
