Manchester United should be ‘grateful’ if Zlatan Ibrahimovic goes to Old Trafford, according to his Swedish team-mate John Guidetti.
The 34-year-old Ibrahimovic has still to reveal his next destination after leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the last campaign.
Ibrahimovic is believed to have an offer on the table from the Red Devils which would see him link up again with his former Inter Milan mentor Jose Mourinho.
The striker, though, is now fully focused ahead of Sweden’s Euro 2016 opener against the Republic of Ireland on Monday.
But former Manchester City striker, Guidetti, says the red side of Manchester would be lucky to have him.
Guidetti insists: “Any team that gets him should be very grateful. He is fantastic, great.
“The way he speaks with all the younger players, the way he demands quality, it is a true pleasure to play with him.”
He added: “I think he knows the Manchester weather like I do! He will settle. Anywhere he has gone he has performed, he is a world class player and is a world class person.”
