Swansea striker Bafetimbi Gomis says he is not looking beyond this season as he continues to shine for Marseille.
Gomis was shipped out on loan to the French club over the summer and it is a move that appears to have paid off as he has rediscovered his form in front of goal.
The striker scored his sixth goal in nine games at the weekend as Marseille beat Metz 1-0 and it is no surprise that talk over a possible permanent move has started.
Marseille have been in financial trouble, forcing them to sell their best players, but after being taken over by US tycoon Frank McCourt, a bright new era looks to be on the horizon.
Marseille will now have the funds to complete a deal, but Gomis is not thinking that far ahead.
“I will not comment on the arrival of the new owner, I loaned (from Swansea), I can not project myself beyond next season,” he told French publication L’Equipe.
