Arsenal could face a fight to keep hold of Serge Gnabry as a host of clubs are reported to be lining up pre-deadline bids.
Bundesliga trio Eintracht Frankfurt, Augsburg and RB Leipzig are believed to have enquired about signing Gnabry, and boss Arsene Wenger now has a decision to make.
The 21-year-old has been making headlines for Germany during the Olympic football tournament in Rio, scoring six times in four appearances to help his nation reach the semi-finals of the competition.
Gnabry’s excellent goalscoring record in Brazil has not gone unnoticed and several teams are believed to have been in contact with Arsenal to discuss the forward’s availability.
Gnabry spent last season on loan at West Brom and is still behind several players in the Gunners’ pecking order, sparking the interest of Frankfurt, Augsburg and RB Leipzig, according to reports in Germany.
Arsenal do not want to lose the former Stuttgart youngster permanently and have spoken to his camp about a contract extension.
However, they would be open to letting him go out on loan for another season of regular first-team action.
