TOP STORY: BVB prepare for Giroud move if Chelsea land Auba
A sensational double move could be in play between three clubs with Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang being lined up by Chelsea, meaning that the Bundesliga outfit will target Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud, according to the Mirror.
BVB face competition for the France international from Everton, West Ham, Marseille and AC Milan.
The 30-year-old is considering his future after the Gunners snapped up Alexandre Lacazette for £52m.
The report then details how Dortmund’s pursuit of Giroud is interlinked with the likelihood of Aubameyang joining the Blues after Chelsea missed out on Romelu Lukaku, who opted to join Manchester United from Everton.
08.00 BST: Let’s kick off the Transfer Talk live blog with a DONE DEAL. Brighton have signed Markus Suttner from Ingolstadt.
– BHAFC ⚽️ (@OfficialBHAFC) July 13, 2017
Suttner, a 30-year-old Austrian left-back, joins the Premier League new-boys on a three-year deal.
“Markus is someone we have been aware of for some time, and I am pleased we have managed to complete the transfer at this stage, and he is now able to join us for the second half of the week,” manager Chris Hughton told Brighton’s official website of his latest signing.
“He has a great level of experience internationally, and in the top divisions in both his native Austria and Germany, where he has played the last two seasons with Ingolstadt, and that experience will serve us well. He will add competition at the back on the left side of defence, and I’m now looking forward to working with him.”
Chelsea beat Juventus to Real Madrid right-back Danilo
Antonio Conte is patiently waiting for Chelsea to deliver him reinforcements. After Antonio Rudiger, another defender is bound for Stamford Bridge in Real Madrid’s Danilo, reports the Mirror.
The former Porto star has failed to prove himself with Los Blancos, leading to the Blues and Juventus moving in on the Brazilian.
A £28m deal is in place for the 25-year-old, who will be able to compete with Victor Moses as the side’s right wing-back.
Conte is also keen to bring in another wing-back on the opposite side of the pitch as competition for Marcos Alonso.
Alex Sandro — who thrived in tandem with Danilo for the Dragoes in Portugal — is a key target, but such a deal for Danilo could jeopardise a move and relations with the Old Lady, who remain firm on their £70m valuation.
Pep wants Bertrand
Manchester City are ready to make a £30m bid for Ryan Bertrand, with Pep Guardiola keen to add the Southampton left-back and address his side’s glaring weakness at full-back, reports the Sun.
The City boss wants three new full-backs but was left livid after Dani Alves snubbed him to join PSG on Wednesday.
More problems have surfaced however, with Tottenham’s bargaining position strengthened by Alves’ decision in potential negotiations for Kyle Walker.
Spurs will now want £50m for the England international, though the Saints are thought to be more likely to do business if a £30m offer is given for Bertrand, handing Guardiola a boost in a mixed summer of dealings.
Inter and Milan prepare stunning Bonucci swoop
Inter and AC Milan are looking at making a sensational move for Juventus star Leonardo Bonucci, according to both Italian newspapers Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport.
The Bianconeri stalwart has reportedly had a bust-up with coach Massimiliano Allegri, leading to the Serie A champions placing a €50m price tag on the Italy international.
The Rossoneri are prepared to include Mattia De Sciglio in the deal, with Alessio Romagnoli off the table.
After losing Alves to PSG, the Old Lady are looking to avoid having their double-winning side broken up, though both Milan clubs appear intent on making a statement signing in the form of Juve’s best defender.
– Champions League-bound Nice have made a loan offer to Al-Ain for United Arab Emirates prodigy Omar Abdulrahman.
The U.A.E. Arabian Gulf League club have rejected the offer, but Nice will reportedly up their bid for the 25-year-old who is oft referred to as Asia’s best player.

– Stoke midfielder Giannelli Imbula is being lined up by Torino, according to Turin-based Tuttosport.
The Granata will look to offer the French midfielder a fresh start after he failed to justify his £20.6m price tag since a 2016 move from Porto.
– Huddersfield Town are keen to continue their ambitious transfer window with a move for Chelsea left-back Baba Rahman, claims the Mirror.
The Ghanaian has endured fitness problems since a £17m move from Augsburg in 2015, and Wagner hopes the Terriers will beat Bournemouth and Everton to acquire the 23-year-old on loan.
