Hull City will attempt to land Argentine ace Maxi Lopez – if Gianfranco Zola gets the manager’s job.
Zola has been linked with the vacant position at the KC Stadium following Steve Bruce’s shock departure.
Now the Gazzetta dello Sport has claimed that the diminutive Italian is already thinking about new signings in case he gets the nod.
And one of those is 32-year-old forward Lopez, who is currently plying his trade at Torino.
The former Barcelona and AC Milan man has a wealth of experience and scored four goals in 26 Serie A appearances last season.
Lopez has two years remaining on his current deal but it has been suggested that Torino would be willing to sell for the right price this summer.
