The Real Madrid superstar missed the goalless Champions League semi-final first leg at the Etihard last night with a thigh injury.
And Welsh wonder Bale reckons Ronaldo can return to help Real finally kill-off City’s European dream in the second leg at the Bernabeu next Wednesday.
The Welsh wizard said: “We’re confident. We have such a good record at home in the Champions League so we’re looking forward to it.
“We’re very confident playing at the Bernabeu, the fans will get behind us and it’s a game I’m really looking forward to.
“Obviously he (Ronaldo) is going to be an asset to any team. City are a really strong team, but so are we.
