Saint-Etienne coach Christophe Galtier has emerged as a Swansea target as chairman Huw Jenkins weighs up his next move.
Jenkins has confirmed the Swans board will this week discuss the future of current boss Francesco Guidolin, who is due to fall out of contract after the final game of the season.
The Italian has completed his mission to keep the club in the Premier League and the vast majority of fans now believe he deserves a chance to lead the club next season.
Jenkins has not ruled out that possibility but it would appear he is weighing up all options, including Galtier.
The Frenchman has impressed with his work at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard since joining Les Verts back in 2009.
Three consecutive top-five finishes and winning the Coupe de la Ligue in 2013 have not gone unnoticed and Galtier could be set for a switch to the Premier League.
Swansea have been linked with a move for the tactician, while Everton are also said to be keen as doubts surround the future of former Swans boss Roberto Martinez at Goodison Park.
