‘Furious’ Newcastle United fan rants about leaving match early – missing two late goals

The Toon went 1-0 ahead after dominating the opening half an hour of play, with Dwight Gayle missing two opportunities to put Newcastle ahead before poking home a Matt Ritchie cross.

But French winger Yoan Gouffran allowed the Canaries back into the game on the stroke of half-time, conceding a penalty that Graham Dorrans converted with confidence.

After the break, Norwich ran riot, with goals from Cameron Jerome and Jacob Murphy putting the East Anglian side 3-1 up with only 20 minutes to go.

But Gayle scored his second of the match only a minute later to set up an enthralling final ten minutes at St James’ Park.
