Everton welcome back Ramiro Funes Mori from suspension and could also have Gareth Barry available for Wednesday’s trip to Sunderland.
Funes Mori has served a three-match ban following his red card in the Merseyside derby while Barry has been sidelined by a groin injury.
But the Toffees remain short in defence with Phil Jagielka, Seamus Coleman (both hamstring) and Tony Hibbert (ankle) out along with Gerard Deulofeu (knee).
Kevin Mirallas will be pushing for a start after he came off the bench to score a fine individual goal at Leicester in the 3-1 defeat against the newly-crowned Premier League champions on Saturday, while Leon Osman and Mo Besic will also hope to be involved.
Sunderland can secure their top-flight status if they manage a win, which would then relegate Newcastle and Norwich in the process.
