Stoke are reported to be showing an interest in French international striker Andre Pierre Gignac ahead of a potential summer swoop.
Gignac has been linked with a move to the Premier League on a number of occasions down the years, and Potters boss Mark Hughes could offer him the chance to make the switch.
The 30-year-old is currently playing his football in Mexico with Tigres, but would jump at the chance to play in England if Stoke pursued their reported interest.
Gignac has fired home 23 goals in 30 appearances for Tigres and his form has alerted Hughes, who is looking to bolster his attack in the close season.
The Frenchman still has two years remaining on his deal in Mexico, but Tigres could be tempted to cash in if the Potters offer £6million.
