Stoke City are reported to be among the clubs tracking Marseille defender Benjamin Mendy this summer.
Potters boss Mark Hughes is keen to bolster his defence once the transfer window opens again tomorrow, and left-backs seem to be the order of the day.
Leeds United star Charlie Taylor is believed to be on his radar already, but Hughes is casting his net far and wide, and Mendy is also said to be a target.
Marseille are currently having one or two financial problems and are likely to accepts any reasonable offer for the France under-21 international.
Stoke will face competition for his services though as Sunderland and West Ham United are also said to be keen.
