Tottenham keeper Hugo Lloris says it is vital that France do not concede the first goal in their Euro 2016 quarter-final with Iceland.
Hosts France face Iceland in a quarter-final tie after England’s shock capitulation on Monday night and Lloris says it is important they do not do what they did against the Republic of Ireland in the last round and concede an early goal.
Lloris has warned his international team-mates not to allow any mistakes against the minnows in the quarter-finals.
“We need to learn about that because maybe at this stage of the competition it’s possible to go through but in the next round, that kind of mistake, we need to avoid that,” the Spurs No.1 said.
“The good thing is that we have longer to prepare for the next game.”
