Swansea are stepping up their interest in Leicester striker Leonardo Ulloa as they look to bolster their attack.
Swansea are in need of at least one new striker as Bafetimbi Gomis is set to join Marseille on a season-long loan deal, while Euro 2016 winner Eder joined Lille earlier in the summer.
Boss Francesco Guidolin is being linked with a number of strikers but Ulloa would appear to be his number one target.
The Foxes forward admitted last week that he was keen to depart the King Power Stadium after becoming increasingly frustrated at his lack of a regular starting role.
The champions have Jamie Vardy and Shinji Okazaki, while Ahmed Musa has also been brought in over the summer – meaning Ulloa’s chances of action appear even slimmer.
He has informed the Foxes that he is looking for a move away and Swansea are the first club to make their interest known with the 30-year-old’s fee set at around £7million.
The former Brighton man played his part in helping City win the title, scoring six goals, but was largely used off the bench, and would jump at the chance of regular first-team football at the Liberty Stadium.
