Emmanuel Adebayor is holding talks with Fulham over a potential deal.
The experienced Togolese striker is a free agent after leaving Crystal Palace at the end of last season.
Adebayor joined the Eagles in January but struggled to make an impact and scored just one goal in 15 appearances for the Premier League club.
He previously spent a mixed four-year spell at Tottenham, where he plundered 42 goals in 113 appearances.
Now the 32-year-old, who also counts Arsenal, Manchester City and Real Madrid among his former clubs, could return to London.
He had looked set to sign for Turkish side Caykur Rizespor but has entered negotiations with Championship side Fulham.
