Nottingham Forest are close to signing former Queens Park Rangers and Arsenal defender Armand Traore, BBC Radio Nottingham understands.
The 26-year-old, who joined QPR from Arsenal in 2011, failed to make an appearance for the club last season and was released in June.
Traore played 93 games for the Rs and helped them to win the Championship play-off final against Derby in 2014.
Prior to joining QPR, Traore had spells on loan with Portsmouth and Juventus.
