Manchester United striker Ashley Fletcher insists he wants to stay with the club despite interest from elsewhere.
The Red Devils man spent the second half of last season on loan with League One side Barnsley, scoring six times in 23 appearances.
Fletcher is currently out of contract with United and reports claim Barnsley, Leeds and Wolves are all eager to snap him up.
United have offered the 20-year-old fresh terms and although he is yet to sign it looks likely he will snub interest from the Championship.
The striker insists his ultimate goal is to play for the Old Trafford outfit and he believes his recent loan spell has helped his development.
Fletcher said: “One of the main reasons why I came (to Barnsley) was just to learn the different type of game playing against physical centre-halves.
“You have to deal with that instead of the Under-21s, when it is more football based on possession. I know it’s something I needed to do and felt I could do it.
“I’ve learned to be a lot cuter in my play.”
